English Labrador Retrievers

Looking for a new addition to the family?

We breed our AKC registered English Labrador Retrievers we have all 3 colors black, yellow & chocolate.

  • Our Labs come from a long line of health and hardworking dogs. Some have been used as service dogs, hunting dogs, farm dogs, family pets, you name it they have likely done it!
  • These puppies are exposed to many different things first thing being Alex's wheelchair. The puppies are with her from the start and learn quickly how to interact and maneuver with a wheelchair and unlike some dogs they aren't scared of wheelchairs and don't bark at them.
  • We make sure to expose them to other things such as the vacuum, the broom, we also have a rumba, they get used to regular noises in the home some being in the kitchen, such as the blender, dishwasher running. Typical home sounds that dogs raised in kennels won't be exposed to regularly.
  • They are around our other dogs, not just their mom and dad. As well as our cats they get used to being around them cuddling with one and playing with another. As they approach 6 weeks they get to venture further outside on the farm and meet our birds we have chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys and guinea hens along with eventually 'meeting' our cows (through a fence). Unless you plan to use them on a farm then we are happy to expose them further such as we do with all our personal dogs.
  • We do our best to make sure friends and family with young children are able to interact with all the puppies as often as possible. Getting them used to all ages and different things young children may do to a dog. Pulling tails, pulling on them, fingers in their month.  We also put out hands in their months and in their food bowls. We want to make sure your dog is good with every kind of situation.
  • Being next to a fabrication shop can be loud but honestly, it's great when you're trying to expose puppies to loud and different sounds. The dropping of metal can sometime sound like thunder.
  • Our neighbor shoots off fireworks at their home while we have the puppies on our deck, and they get used to this. they also get used to thunder and lightning as we play it on o noise machine. if we are lucky, we get a storm, and they don't typically panic since they have already been exposed to similar sounds.
  • We do our best and try to have them ready for you and their new lives. We start the process of crate training them, giving them their first baths, trimming their nails and using pee pads to start potty training.
  • Once you have a named picked out, we will gladly start using their name when referring to them so typically your puppy knows their own name when they go home!

Our Sire History

Ruger is our Yellow Lab; he has the classic block head of an English male. He loves to bird hunt and does great in the blind, he just waits patiently watching and waiting till you allow him to do his job. He is also a family dog and will actually sit on the couch and watch a movie or show with you. Will also work for carrots and cheese for an extra snack.
Bear is our Chocolate Lab; he also has the classic block head just not as big as his father Ruger. He is lean and a bit taller than his dad. He loves to run and play with kids, he's just getting more interested in hunting, but shows promise. He also loves to cuddle at night on the couch.
Moose is our Black lab; and our youngest he loves to cuddle and give kisses! He's just starting to learn the ropes of hunting but he's also a great farm dog. He isn't scared of the cows, actually he loves to give them kisses. He helps his human mom move the cows without training. This is something we are going to work more on with him.
